SAI BABA TEMPLE, ANEKAL, BANGALORE
Temple Complex
Temple complex is dedicated to Sai Baba of Shirdi. Complex includes components like Theme halls, along with a monumental 'Main Temple‘, Research Center, Nature Village, and Residential, Administrative, Retail and other leisure activities.
The main temple building architecture is devoid of any religious symbols or motifs, or Hindu Temple or Islamic Architecture, as he is considered more as an Indian Spiritual master, rather than a religious guru. Sai Baba is said to have lived by and preached values of loves, acceptance, forgiveness and realization of the self. The temple architecture, thus, is designed on a monumental scale and as a divine experience for the visitor through the use of audio-visual interactive displays, animations and other media. Natural light is used and directed to the center of the temple towards the idol of Sai Baba, and to create an interesting, immersive experience for the devotee
